Our story began in Chicago in 1955, when Lee J. Crowther started his career in his family’s roofing business. Twenty years later, in 1975, Lee brought that expertise to Fort Myers, Florida, where he saw the opportunity to serve a growing community with year-round roofing and cooling solutions.

What started as a small local operation has grown into one of Florida’s most trusted names in roofing and cooling. Today, Crowther Roofing & Cooling is proudly led by CEO Lee S. Crowther and President Kevin Callans, along with multiple Crowther family members across the company. With five generations of family involvement, our values remain the same: honesty, craftsmanship, and treating every customer like family.

Crowther Roofing & Cooling operates out of four strategic locations across Florida—two in Fort Myers, plus Sarasota and Jupiter. With more than 900 dedicated employees and a fleet of 475 service vehicles, we have the people and resources to respond quickly and handle projects of any size.

As active members of the National Roofing Partners (NRP) and the National Roofing Contractors Association (NRCA), we are nationally recognized as an industry leader, with annual sales approaching $181 million.
